Ep. 19: Why Should I Love My Body?
How many times have we stood in front of the mirror, poking and prodding at every lump, bump, and dimple? How many times have we torn out pages from magazines of other women we would like to look like for “inspiration”? How many times have we told ourselves that we are not beautiful or that we are not worthy?
If any of this resonates with you, then today’s episode is the one you need to hear. Therapist Demi Jacobs is joining us again, and in this conversation she explains where our body image stems from, why it can sometimes be difficult to pull ourselves out of the negative self-talk, and how we can begin to work toward a more positive body image right now, just the way we are.
