Ep. 26: Why Should I Volunteer for Children in Need? with Nicole Moll
How often do we think we “should” volunteer, but the time commitment and obligation feels too overwhelming and we never take action?
This was the case for Nicole Moll—she wanted to find an opportunity to involve her children in giving back, but her busy schedule and her children’s ages made volunteer opportunities seem out of reach. Then one day, in the midst of a child’s birthday party, it dawned on her: give birthday parties to children in need. From that moment, the non-profit Box of Balloons was born.
In this conversation, Nicole opens her heart to describe her pull to volunteer, why birthday parties are important, and how giving joy can build a stronger community.
